Deb’s Review:

Lady Amelia’s Mess and a Half by Samantha Grace is a historical romance sure to please. Mrs. Grace takes you to another place in time, where some things are just too scandalous to mention.

Lady Amelia is a widow who is in love with another man, which according to the standards of polite society makes her a scandalous woman. Throughout the story, she uncovers truths that are not only shocking, but also welcoming from her point of view.

Mr. Jack Hillary is as dashing as his name. Although his family is considered to be of high standards, he has been in love with Lady Amelia half his life. Now that she has returned nothing will stop him from taking what he wants.

I am becoming a huge fan of Regency Romances. Sigh! The demeanor of the men, the backdrop of the settings, and even the cattiness of the women hold such appeal to me. LOL In addition, the secondary characters were just as enjoyable as the hero and heroine. How could one not enjoy the likes of Captain Daniel Hillary, the Earl of Norwick and the wonderful Lady Kendell aka Bibi. I would love to hear more from these characters. I must confess that there are a few shocking moments that had me stunned, as well as on the edge of my seat wondering what would happened next. Well-played Mrs. Grace.

If you’re looking for a story that will allow you to get lost in an intriguing world where unspeakable pleasures take place, then Lady Amelia’s Mess and a Half is definitely the book to read . Samantha Grace has created a sassy, charming heroine, and an equally handsome and scandalous man, who will make you melt into a pile of goo.
