Darn Good Cowboy Christmas by Carolyn Brown
Publisher: Source Book
Genre: Western, Contemporary Romance
Length: 379 pages
Born and raised in a traveling carnival, all Liz Hanson ever wanted for Christmas was a home that didn’t have wheels. After she was old enough to date she added one more item: a sexy cowboy.
She’s about given up on Santa ever bringing either one when her father dies and leaves her an ugly house and twenty acres in Texas. Then rancher Raylen O’Donnell walks onto her property…
Darn Good Cowboy Christmas by Carolyn Brown is a heartwarming romance, that was as much fun to read as the bedroom scenes were hot!
Liz grew up being in the Carnie family business, so when she said she wanted to leave the family business to put down roots, what was a mother to do but let her go. Even though this is what Liz wanted, she still had her doubts as well as her fears. She just hoped a certain cowboy played in her long term plans.
Raylen, knew what he wanted all those years ago when a certain dark head beauty came to visit. Liz has been the star of Raylen’s most hot dreams over the years. However, when he gets a load of Liz up close and personal in all her adult glory, he’s like a new stud coming out of the stables. Liz better hang on, because I am betting Raylen wants to hold on to her, instead of bucking her off.
Come one, Come all to the most fabulous Carney around! The O’Donnell’s are such a lively bunch, so it’s no wonder when the Hanson’s came to town, the sparks were a flyin’. Liz wants roots to hold her down from the traveling bug, but can she make it stick?
Darn Good Cowboy Christmas has such a huge family feel that it made me just want to snuggle in to read it from cover to cover. It was that good! The second level characters were just as huge as the hero and heroine in my opinion, even though I felt like there were more than one set of leading men and women.
I have to say if you love reading Christmas/Cowboy romances then by Carolyn Brownis a sweet keeper for you. I know Carolyn Brown has a new fan…ME!
