Genre: Contemporary Romance
Length: 203 pages

The girl next door never looked so good…

For Cameron McKenzie, Chloe Dawson has always just been his younger sister Jane’s best friend—a pesky annoyance who followed him around and acted like he hung the moon. It isn’t until Jane’s wedding to her firefighter beau Chris that Chloe reappears in his life…and she isn’t pesky or annoying anymore. In fact, the beautiful Chloe tempts him beyond reason. But Cam knows he’s damaged goods—not nearly good enough for Lone Pine Lake’s resident good girl.

Chloe’s always dreamed of a future with the dark, brooding Cam, and after they share an explosive kiss, she wonders if her dream could be coming true. Cam’s never stuck around his hometown for long, though, so she makes him an offer: one sweet summer romance with no strings attached. This good girl’s ready for an adventure…one that just might end up lasting a lifetime.

Deb’s Review:

Tempting Cameron is another huge hit by Karen Erickson it is an emotional touching love story, that I am sure readers will remember for a long while, I know I will.

Cameron is a tough nut, he enjoys keeping to himself he rarely if ever let’s anyone in. Ms. Erickson did a splendid in creating this hero; he is charismatic in his own way. Can Cam overcome what has stopped him from truly being home? Will the tough man that Cam has become be able to guard himself as well as his heart from a doll like Chloe?

Chloe is what I like to call a “True Heroine”, make no bones about it she is the sweetheart of this book. She has a shyness about her yet she has this spunky side as well there was a point where I felt Chloe could have been more aggressive, with Mac… I wanted her to lay it out for him. *grins*Ms. Erickson creates heroines, that are believable.

The supporting characters added to the heart of the plot line as well as helping build the main characters up. They were loud, funny, loving and quite noisy. *grins* There is a secret between Ali and Mac, I hope Ms. Erickson graces with their story. The plot line is a sweet budding love story with, family ties in a small town where in secret the town’s people are rooting for the home team.

Ms. Erickson made it to my auto buy list; she had me at, “Hello.” *grins* If you are curious what is happening in Lone Pine Lake and its town folk, come by and set a spell, you’ll be glad you did.
